PESHAWAR -- Pakistan on Friday (September 6) observed Defence and Martyrs Day to send a message of peace and security.
Pakistani leaders and senior security officials visited the homes of those killed during the defence of the country.
"The entire nation salutes the martyrs and their families," President Arif Alvi said on Friday, Radio Pakistan reported.
