QUETTA -- Pakistani forces killed at least five terrorists in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), while more than 800 militants surrendered in Balochistan.
Troops killed at least four militants in Dera Bugti District, Balochistan, and a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) member in the Kulachi area of KP, Inter-Services Public Service Relations (ISPR) said in separate statements, according to Dunya News and Dawn. The TTP member was killed Wednesday (February 1).
Security forces nabbed eight suspects in Kulachi, ISPR added.
Meanwhile, more than 800 Baloch militants laid down their weapons in various parts of Balochistan, provincial government spokesperson Anwarul Haq Kakar said Wednesday (February 1), according to Dawn.
