Quetta police kill 4 terrorists

QUETTA – Police in Quetta October 27 killed four terrorists in a shoot-out, Geo News reported. Three police officers were injured.

Police confronted the militants in the Hazar Ganji area and returned fire when the militants refused an order to surrender, police said.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri recently suspended three top police officials, including the commandant of a recently bombed police training centre, Dawn reported October 27. Zehri blamed the officials for negligence.

A terrorist bombing of the Balochistan Police College in Quetta October 25 killed at least 62 Pakistanis, mostly police cadets.
