ISLAMABAD -- Senior Pakistani and Afghan security officials are scheduled to hold talks in Islamabad and Kabul, sources told the Daily Times Thursday (June 7).

A high-level Afghan security delegation is due in Pakistan Monday (June 11), before Pakistani Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa is expected to visit Kabul, according to the Daily Times.

Both sides are expected to review progress on the appointment of military liaison officers in both countries.

Also on the agenda is the establishment of Ground Co-ordination Centres (GCCs) at the Torkham and Chaman border points, which will enable cross-border monitoring of terror suspects.
