QUETTA -- The Frontier Corps (FC) and other security agencies destroyed four militant camps and recovered an arms and ammunition cache in Dera Bugti District, Balochistan, Dunya TV reported Thursday (January 5).
The troops seized machine guns, rocket launchers and other weapons, security officials said.
Meanwhile, unidentified armed men on Thursday (January 5) in Pashin District, Balochistan, killed a tribal elder and member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl), Dawn reported.
Malik Muhammad Esa's killers fled the scene, Levies Force officials said.
Relatives of the slain elder organised a demonstration and blocked the Quetta-to-Chaman highway for some time.
