Sindh approves 10 more anti-terrorism courts

KARACHI -- A high-level Sindh Province government committee recently approved establishing 10 more anti-terrorism courts (ATCs) and registering seminaries, Dunya TV reported Tuesday (December 13).

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah chaired the Karachi meeting.

Participants also agreed to appoint more prosecutors to speed up cases in the ATCs, Moula Bakhsh Chandio, Shah's spokesman, said.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani navy Tuesday (December 13) announced the formation of a task force, TF-88, to protect the Gwadar seaport in Balochistan, Geo News reported that day.
