Gen. Bajwa visits Peshawar, vows to eradicate terrorism

PESHAWAR -- Pakistani army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa recently visited Peshawar, where he vowed to eliminate terrorism at any cost, Dunya TV reported Monday (December 12).

Bajwa visited army XI Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, where he heard a briefing about the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement, according to Dunya News.

Meanwhile, a grenade attack Monday (December 12) injured nine people at an office of the National Party in Turbat District, Balochistan, Dawn reported.
