Foreign Minister Qureshi, US President Trump discuss relations

NEW YORK -- Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi met with US President Donald Trump Tuesday (September 25) in New York and discussed matters relating to their countries' ties, Dawn reported Tuesday.

Qureshi is in New York for the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

During their conversation at a luncheon, Trump extended best wishes for the newly elected Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Qureshi also conferred with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. They are scheduled to meet again October 2, reported Dawn.
