KARACHI -- Pakistani authorities arrested at least 12 suspects and seized weapons and explosives nationwide, media reported.
Police in Karachi Wednesday and Thursday (March 8 and 9) detained eight suspected militants, Dunya TV and Geo News reported.
Three of the suspects were Afghan nationals.
Authorities nabbed three suspects in Hyderabad, Sindh Province, Wednesday (March 8), Dunya TV reported.
Police in Rawalpindi arrested a suspected terrorist who had explosives, a detonator and fuses. The suspect was disguised as a beggar, said police, according to Dunya TV.
Law enforcement seized weapon and explosive caches in separate operations in Bajaur Agency and Balochistan, Dunya TV reported.
