Punjab police kill 6 outlaws

LAHORE -- Punjab Police killed six outlaws in Lahore and in Kasur District, media reported.

Police Sunday (February 5) in Kasur District returned fire when criminals on motorcycles defied orders to halt and opened fire on them, the district police officer (DPO) said. Police killed two of the outlaws. They were involved in more than 44 robberies, Dunya TV reported.

A cross-fire between police and criminals Saturday (February 4) in Lahore killed four men who kidnapped and killed a 14-year-old in 2016, Geo News reported. The police were taking the four into custody when their associates opened fire, starting a gun battle.
