ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan has climbed to the number one spot in International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 (T20) rankings for the first time ever, the cricket governing body announced Wednesday (November 1), as reported by Dawn.
Pakistan obtained the top slot after India beat New Zealand Wednesday. New Zealand, which had held the top rank, slipped to the number two spot after the loss.
Pakistan reached the top spot in ICC Test rankings last year.
