ISLAMABAD -- An unidentified attacker killed Muhammad Bilal Khan, a 22-year-old blogger and social media activist, in Islamabad on Sunday (June 16) night, Dawn reported.
Khan was with his uncle Ehtesham when he was stabbed with a dagger in the G-9/4 area of Islamabad, according to Superintendent of Police Saddar Malik Naeem.
Witnesses also reported gunshots, said the police.
Ehtesham was severely wounded and is hospitalised.
Khan had more than 16,000 followers on Twitter, 48,000 on his YouTube channel and 22,000 followers on Facebook.
