LAHORE -- Police are pursuing a Lahore man accused of fatally shooting his sister Wednesday (November 1) in an "honour killing", Dawn reported, quoting police.
The man allegedly accused her of "immoral character" and shot her after an argument, and later fled.
The independent Human Rights Commission of Pakistan recorded at least 280 suspected honour killings from October 2016 to June 2017 -- a figure believed to be underestimated and incomplete, AFP reported October 31.
