Army corps commanders review security situation

ISLAMABAD -- Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa Tuesday (October 3) chaired a special corps commanders' conference in Rawalpindi, Dawn reported October 4.

The commanders, who convened for seven hours, reportedly reviewed security challenges facing the country, as well as the military's preparedness.

Bajwa is likely to have discussed his recent trip to Afghanistan, where he conferred with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, reported Dawn.
