KARACHI -- Security forces killed five "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS) and al-Qaeda terrorists and arrested a suspected terrorist in Karachi, reported Geo News.
Terrorists opened fire on police conducting a raid in the Sachal area Thursday (September 28), causing police to return fire and kill them. The dead terrorists were planning to bomb Muharram gatherings, said Rao Anwar, senior superintendent of police for Malir.
The Federal Investigation Agency on the same day arrested an accused ISIS activist suspected of operating more than 50 social media pages to recruit for ISIS, added Geo News.
