Pakistani army completes Operation Khyber-IV

RAWALPINDI -- The Pakistani army announced the conclusion of Operation Khyber-IV in the Shawal and Rajgal areas along the Afghan border, SAMAA reported Monday (August 21).

Pakistan reported killing 52 terrorists and setting up 91 outposts in the area during the operation.

The army neutralised a number of terrorist land mines, added army spokesman Maj. Gen. Asif Ghafoor at a news conference in Rawalpindi.

Two soldiers were killed in the operation, which began July 16, he added.
