KARACHI -- Police in Karachi killed a gang member in a shootout, Dawn reported Wednesday (July 12).
Police and gang member Aftab Zikri exchanged gunfire Tuesday (July 11). His brother is Ghaffar Zikri, a suspected Lyari gang leader.
A constable was wounded in the incident.
Zikri was involved in various crimes, including extortion, murder and kidnapping, said police.
