Panama Papers investigators summon PM's sons, daughter

ISLAMABAD -- The Panama Papers Joint Investigation Team (JIT) summoned Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's two sons and daughter Tuesday (June 27), reported Geo News.

The sons, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, are scheduled to testify before the JIT July 3, with the daughter, Maryam Nawaz, scheduled for July 5. Another daughter has not been summoned.

The sons have made multiple appearances before the JIT, while Maryam Nawaz will be making her first appearance.

Nawaz Sharif, his brother (Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif) and Maryam Nawaz's husband have all testified to the JIT.

The JIT is investigating allegations of corruption.
