Raheel Sharif leaves for Saudi Arabia to head military alliance

ISLAMABAD -- Former Pakistani army chief General Raheel Sharif departed for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Friday (April 21) to head the 41-nation military alliance of Muslim countries led by Saudi Arabia, Geo News reported.

The government has given him a No Objection Certificate after completion of all legal formalities and requirements, Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif told Geo News.
