LAHORE -- At least eight suspected militants of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) splinter group Jamatul Ahrar were killed in Punjab Wednesday (April 19), Geo News reported.
The militants were killed during an overnight clash with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab police in the Narang Mandi area of Sheikhupura.
Police recovered 3kg of explosives, suicide vests, three Kalashnikovs, five handguns and ammunition from the location, a CTD official said.
