Staff Report

KARACHI -- Bombs in Sindh and Balochistan provinces Wednesday (March 22) damaged railway tracks and a girls' school, respectively, Dawn reported.

Planted bombs damaged railway tracks in Mehrabpur and Rohri, Sindh, said police, adding that the explosions halted railway traffic for some time.

In Killa (Qilla) Abdullah District, Balochistan, two miscreants on a motorbike hurled a grenade at a government girls' high school, said Levies Force sources. No casualties were reported.

All the girls were in class when the grenade broke some windows, Zamarak Achakzai, a member of the Balochistan Provincial Assembly, told Dawn.
