PESHAWAR -- Five militants and three security personnel were killed in Orakzai and South Waziristan agencies, media reported.
Five militants and two troops were killed during a security operation in Orakzai Agency Wednesday (March 22), reported Dawn, adding that one of the dead militants was "Duran", a Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader.
The Frontier Constabulary conducted the raid as part of the counter-insurgency Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, according to Inter-Services Public Relations.
A roadside bomb Wednesday in South Waziristan killed another security officer, according to Dawn.
