PESHAWAR -- Three security personnel and eight terrorists were killed in militant attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Khyber Agency, media reported Friday (March 17).
Troops Friday fatally shot two would-be suicide bombers who stormed a Frontier Constabulary (FC) training centre in Charsadda District, KP, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, according to Dawn.
An FC member was killed in the shoot-out, added ISPR.
Two troops and six attackers were killed during a militant attack on a border check-post in Khyber Agency Friday, said ISPR separately.
Pakistani forces Thursday (March 16) carried out air strikes in Rajgal valley, Khyber Agency, said ISPR, adding that they were acting on a tip about the presence of Mangal Bagh, leader of the banned Lashkar-e-Islam.
"Many" terrorists were killed, ISPR said, according to Geo TV.
