KARACHI -- A police investigation has revealed that Superintendent of Police Chaudhry Aslam's own driver was involved in his 2014 murder, media reported Wednesday (March 8).
Karam, the driver, was a member of the banned Ahle-Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat (AWSJ) and gave information regarding Aslam's movements to Naeem Bukhari, Karachi chief of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ), according to police investigation, Dunya TV reported.
The revelations came to light during an investigation of the accomplices of terrorists recently killed in a Karachi operation, Geo News reported.
Aslam was killed in a car bomb attack in Karachi in 2014.
