Dozens arrested following killings in Sindh province

KARACHI -- At least three people were killed and another wounded in two separate incidents of violence in Sindh province, as police held 30 suspects in connection with the killing of a SAMAA TV assistant cameraman, media reported.

Unidentified armed assailants opened fire near Brohi Hotel in Karachi's Orangi Town area, killing two people and injuring another, SAMAA reported Monday (February 13).

Separately, police held five suspects in Khairpur District of Sindh who Saturday (February 11) night allegedly tortured to death a NED University student, The Express Tribune reported.

Police also apprehended 30 suspects during raids in different areas of Karachi after killing of the assistant camera person of SAMAA TV channel Sunday (February 12) night, Geo News reported Monday (February 13).
