Militants, security officers killed in violence across Pakistan

PESHAWAR -- Two militants, two security personnel and a peace volunteer were killed in violence across Pakistan on November 28.

Gunmen in Peshawar targeted the recently launched Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) City Patrol Force, killing an assistant sub-inspector, and in the KP district of Bannu, targeted killings claimed a peace activist and a Levies Force official, according to Dawn.

In Dera Bugti District, Balochistan Province, the Frontier Corps (FC) killed two terrorists and destroyed five militant hideouts, the FC reported that same day.

In Karachi, the Sindh Police Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on November 28 arrested three men accused of membership in the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Dunya TV reported.
