ISLAMABAD -- Pakistani forces recently arrested 11 suspects, including a suspected militant on the most-wanted list, and seized a weapons cache, media reported.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel nabbed on November 23 most-wanted suspected militant Feroz Khan in Peshawar, Dawn reported. Feroz was wanted on charges in connection with a 2009 Peshawar car bombing that killed 60 people and with the 2012 slaying of KP Superintendent of Police (Rural) Khurshid Khan, a CTD official said.
In Karachi, police arrested 10 suspects on November 22, including three suspected militants, officials said November 23. Additionally, the paramilitary Rangers recently seized a weapon cache in Karachi, according to Dunya TV.
Meanwhile, a Khasadar Force member in Khyber Agency was killed in a shoot-out with drug smugglers on November 22, Dawn reported. The Khasadar Force wounded and arrested a suspected smuggler and seized a large quantity of narcotics.
