Pakistani violence kills 5 militants or criminals, 2 security personnel

KARACHI --At least five terrorists or criminals and two security personnel were killed in recent violence in Pakistan.

One man was killed in a shoot-out with police in Karachi November 3, officials said, according to Geo News. He was wanted in four cases, police said.

Police recently arrested 13 suspects in Karachi, Geo News reported November 4.

Meanwhile, two Frontier Corps personnel and four militants were killed in Gwadar District, Balochistan, recently, Dawn reported November 3. The dead militants were involved in several targeted killings, officials said.

Meanwhile, unidentified motorcyclists November 2 gunned down a Levies Force member in Khuzdar District, Balochistan, Deputy Com­missioner Sohail Rehman Baloch confirmed, according to Dawn.

Gunmen November 3 in Islamabad fatally shot Pakistani army Maj. Zeeshan Naseem in his house, Dawn reported.
