Suspected ISIL target killer held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR -- A suspected target killer of the "Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant" (ISIL) was arrested in Peshawar recently, Dawn reported September 22.

Police nabbed the Afghan national in Qazi Killay village on the outskirts of Peshawar recently, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Counter-Terrorism Department official Mian Saeed confirmed.

The detainee allegedly was involved in assassinating 32 people, including 15 Peshawar police officers, Saeed said.

He confessed to killing five women as well in Peshawar, Saeed said.
