2 policemen killed, 8 Pakistanis wounded in Karachi, Peshawar

PESHAWAR -- At least two policemen were killed and six other officers wounded in Karachi and Peshawar.

A remote-controlled bomb September 8 in Peshawar injured eight people, including six Rapid Response Force personnel, Geo News reported.

Late September 7 in Karachi, assailants gunned down two police officers, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) for Karachi South Saqib Ismail Memon said, according to Dawn.

Meanwhile, security forces recently detained two suspected terrorists in Karachi, Dunya TV reported September 8. The suspects are accused of attacking security forces, sources said.
