LAHORE -- Pakistani authorities recently killed a terrorist in Punjab Province, while 10 Pakistanis were injured by a grenade in Balochistan, media reported.
The Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), acting on a tip, raided an area in Gujrat District August 23. Police killed one terrorist in the ensuing shoot-out, while four suspects escaped, a CTD spokesman said, according to Dunya TV.
Police August 22 in Kotli District, Pakistani-controlled Kashmir, arrested a suspected militant, Dawn reported. They seized about 10kg of explosives during the arrest, police said.
A grenade attack August 24 in Awaran District, Balochistan, injured at least 10 people, Levies Force sources said, according to Dunya TV. Two masked men hurled a grenade near a bus station.
