Peshawar blast injures 3; 5 suspected Pakistani militants nabbed

PESHAWAR -- A roadside bomb in Peshawar injured three people, while Pakistani law enforcement detained three five suspected terrorists in Karachi and Gwadar.

The July 29 Peshawar explosion -- near the Charsadda bus terminal -- injured three Pakistanis including a traffic police officer, police said, according to Dawn.

Authorities in Karachi recently arrested two suspects in connection with charges in the slaying of two soldiers in that city, Geo News reported July 28. The soldiers were fatally shot July 26.

Authorities in Gwadar, Balochistan Province, July 28 arrested three other suspected terrorists, Dunya TV reported.
