Pakistani Rangers arrest 533 suspects in Sindh

KARACHI -- The para-military Rangers recently arrested 533 suspected criminals and terrorists in operations in the interior of Sindh Province, Geo News reported July 21.

The detainees included 34 suspected operatives of banned outfits, the Rangers said in a statement.

Three Rangers were killed in the raids, the Rangers said.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) July 20 at Lahore International Airport nabbed a man accused of trying to transport 2kg of heroin to Europe, Dunya TV reported, quoting the ANF.
