RAWALPINDI -- Pakistani army chief Gen. Raheel Sharif July 14 signed the death warrants of 12 "hard-core terrorists" convicted of murdering security personnel and committing other terrorist acts, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said, according to Dawn.
The condemned terrorists belong to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, ISPR said, adding that military courts convicted them.
Meanwhile, Pakistani authorities July 13 detained five suspected militants in Chaman, Balochistan, Dawn reported, quoting official sources.
