Slain ex-MQM leader Ali Raza Abidi laid to rest in Karachi

KARACHI -- Ali Raza Abidi, a Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) politician, was buried in Karachi Wednesday (December 26) after gunmen killed him Tuesday (December 25), reported Geo News.

Abidi was shot multiple times outside his residence in the Defence Housing Authority neighbourhood. His killers fled.

He was a former member of the National Assembly and a former MQM leader.

Security personnel cordoned off the site and are collecting evidence, according to Dawn.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Inspector General of Police Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam took notice of the incident and sought a report.
