Karachi police arrest 3 ISIS suspects

KARACHI -- Authorities in Karachi arrested three suspected militants linked to the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)," Amin Yousafzai, Sindh Province deputy inspector general of police for criminal investigation, told reporters Thursday (September 13), according to Dawn.

The suspects allegedly were involved in kidnappings and targeted killings in Karachi. Local authorities recovered more than Rs. 10 million (over $81,000) and various weapons during the raid.

Authorities cracking down on that ISIS cell have killed two commanders, while four suspects remain at large, said Yousafzai.
