Pakistan condemns Kabul ambulance bombing

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has condemned a deadly Taliban attack that occurred Saturday (January 27) in Kabul.

An ambulance loaded with explosives detonated in the Afghan capital, killing at least 103 people. The Afghan government blamed the Taliban-linked Haqqani Network.

"We express deep grief and sorrow at the loss of precious human lives in this terrorist attack in which a number of people have also been reportedly injured," said the Foreign Ministry in a statement January 27.

"We convey our deepest sympathies for those who have lost their loved ones and our sincere prayers and wishes are for early recovery of those who have sustained injuries in this dreadful terror attack," the statement said.

Pakistan condemns terrorism in all forms, said the statement.
