Scuffle on Pakistan-Afghanistan border kills 3 Pakistani troops, 5 militants

RAWALPINDI -- A shootout along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border killed three Frontiers Corps soldiers in Mohmand Agency and five militants across the border, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Friday (December 22).

Militants from across the border started firing at troops busy with the construction of a new border post in Shunkrai village.

The returning fire killed five militants and injured many, ISPR said.
