ISLAMABAD -- The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) Tuesday (October 3) resumed registration of Afghan refugees in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported SAMAA TV.

NADRA had temporarily suspended the process for observance of Ashura.

In the past month, NADRA registered about 100,000 Afghan refugees nationwide, including about 80,000 in KP alone.

The agency's goal is to register a million Afghans in 2017.
