KARACHI -- Authorities fired Syed Ali Raza, the in-charge of the Sindh Police Counter Terrorism Department's Sectarian Terrorists Intelligence Group (STIG), for leaking information to the London office of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), The Express Tribune reported Tuesday (September 12).

Umair Siddiqui, a detained member of MQM-London's militant wing, told police that Raza had been feeding him sensitive information.

An investigation proved Raza's guilt and led to his firing, said authorities.
