LAHORE -- The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced online sales of tickets for the upcoming three-match series between Pakistan and the World XI team, Dawn reported Wednesday (August 30). Players from a number of countries comprise the World XI squad.
Hosting the three-match series in Lahore in mid-September represents a triumph for Pakistan. Foreign teams generally shunned the country after terrorists attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in March 2009, killing seven Pakistanis and injuring seven Sri Lankans.
