KARACHI -- Four Pakistanis, including two Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) security guards, were killed in violence in Balochistan and Karachi Monday (August 28), reported Dawn.

A roadside bomb in Panjgur District, Balochistan, killed two Pakistanis riding in a vehicle, said official sources.

In Karachi, unknown gunmen fatally shot two private guards deployed outside an FBR office, said police. The killers fled by motorcycle.

The gunmen shot two guards whose clothing resembled police uniforms, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Shaukat Ali, who raised the possibility that the killing was a mistake.
