2,000kg of explosives seized in Balochistan

QUETTA -- Pakistani troops seized more than 2,000kg of explosives, detained two suspected militants and destroyed two militant hideouts in separate operations in Balochistan Province, reported Geo News Monday (July 31).

Troops confiscated the explosives from a truck in Qilla Abdullah District, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), adding that they arrested two suspects in connection with the seizure.

In Dera Bugti District, the Frontier Corps (FC) Sunday (July 30) destroyed two terrorist compounds and recovered terrorist supplies, including some improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and 32kg of explosives, said ISPR separately.
