LAHORE -- Authorities extended the house detention of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed Monday (July 31) for another two months, Dawn reported.

The Punjab government put Saeed and four other JuD members under house arrest for 90 days in January, accusing them of activities harmful to "peace and security".

It already extended Saeed's detention for three months, which expired July 27.
