QUETTA -- A Quetta-based journalist was arrested for allegedly posting comments hostile to "national security institutions" on social media, Dawn reported Friday (June 30).
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Sunday (June 25) arrested Zafarullah Achakzai, a reporter for the daily Qudrat, for a six-day investigation under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, according to the FIA.
