Pakistanis celebrate 2 Eids, again

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan, as has happened in past years, celebrated two Eids again, Dawn reported Monday (June 26).

In parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Muslims observed Eid Sunday (June 25) in accordance with the decision of a Peshawar-based Ruet-i-Hilal (moon sighting) committee.

Muslims elsewhere in Pakistan celebrated Monday, per the announcement of the country's official Central Ruet-i-Hilal Com­mittee.
