RAWALPINDI -- Security forces in Punjab Province killed two terrorists and arrested 20 suspected criminals and terrorists, reported Geo News.
Provincial Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel confronted four terrorists who were plotting to attack sensitive installations in Lahore and gunned down two of them, said the CTD Sunday (June 18).
The surviving pair escaped.
The Rangers and other security forces detained 20 suspects in the Kharian and Sarai Alamgir areas, said Inter-Services Public Relations Monday (June 19).
The arrests were part of nationwide Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, which authorities launched in February.
