ISLAMABAD -- Security forces killed two terrorists, detained 23 suspected criminals and terrorists, and foiled a terrorism attempt in various parts of Punjab Province, media reported.
Troops carrying out an overnight raid in Dera Ghazi Khan Thursday (June 15) killed the two terrorists, said Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Dunya TV reported Friday (June 16).
They were plotting to attack a religious activity, added ISPR.
Law enforcement rounded up 23 suspects in Lahore and Multan, according to Dunya TV. The Lahore raid took place Thursday.
Police Friday in Rawalpindi seized three hand grenades and some gunpowder, reported SAMAA.
