Staff Report

PESHAWAR -- Pakistan wants to fight cross-border terrorism jointly with Afghanistan in order to bring peace and stability to the two-country tribal region, said Pakistani army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday (June 14), according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Bajwa received a briefing at Peshawar Corps Headquarters about the situation on the Pakistani-Afghan border, said ISPR.

Instead of exchanging allegations, Pakistan seeks mutual trust and intelligence sharing with Afghanistan, Bajwa told troops.
