Professor among 5 ISIS suspects held in Karachi

KARACHI -- Security agencies Monday (May 22) in Karachi held five Pakistanis, including an engineering professor and his niece, on suspicion of having ties with the "Islamic State of Iraq and Syria" (ISIS), Geo News reported.

The professor teaches at a university in Lahore. His niece's age was not given.

The five suspects planned to use drone-mounted explosives to carry out terrorist attacks, said sources.
